OMINIWORKS HOMEOWNER GUIDE

What affects the cost of a resin driveway?

A practical guide to size, excavation, base construction, drainage, edging and aggregate choice.

The six main cost factors

The area is only the starting point. Access for machinery, excavation depth, waste disposal, base construction, drainage, edging and the chosen Vuba aggregate blend all affect the final quotation.

Full excavation or overlay?

A sound and suitable existing base may sometimes be retained. If the base is cracked, moving, contaminated or at the wrong level, excavation and reconstruction will be needed. A cheaper overlay is poor value when the surface beneath it cannot support the new finish.

What a quotation should make clear

Look for the measured area, preparation method, base specification, drainage work, edging and manhole details, resin system, aggregate colour, waste removal, payment stages and written guarantees.
